Whats the plan ?

I have been reading quite a bit about the "big data" , "data science" , "data scientist" etc topics and it sounds really fun and interesting. With my earlier interests in machine learning and data mining, all these terms resonate well with me. Just to strengten my basics, I got the "Statistics Hack" book by Bruce Fray. So I thought of starting a blog to document and share what I learn hoping that it'll be useful for someone as a reference. I am planning to write on topics / stat hacks that amuse me. Also will be posting any interesting development in the world of big data. If you are interested in anything related to big data or just want to simply refresh your knowledge in stats, plz feel free to jump in.
